Refund Policy
Last updated: 2026
Ibn e Akram Welfare Foundation (IAWF) is a registered non-profit. Donations made through this website fund our welfare programmes and verified cases. This policy explains when a donation can be refunded and how to ask for one.
Donations are generally non-refundable
Because donations are passed on to families and programmes soon after they are received, they are voluntary and generally non-refundable once completed. We do, however, refund a donation in the cases listed below.
When we issue a refund
- A duplicate payment was made for the same donation.
- An incorrect amount was charged because of a typing mistake or a technical error.
- The payment was made without the cardholder's or account holder's authorisation.
- The payment was deducted but the donation was not completed or recorded on our side.
How to request a refund
Contact us within 7 days of the payment through either channel below:
- Email: info@ibneakramwf.org
- WhatsApp: +92 321 4388553
- Write "Refund request" in the subject or first line.
- Include your full name, the date and amount of the donation, the payment method, and the transaction or reference ID.
- Briefly explain the reason for the refund. We may contact you to verify that the request is genuine.
How refunds are processed
Once a request is approved, the refund is issued to the original payment method (card, bank account or mobile wallet) within 14 working days. The time it takes to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider. Any fee charged by the payment gateway or bank may not be recoverable.
